"... Hey guys, look outside!" Jude said excitedly.
Outside there was a reddish Chinese dragon. This was their equivalent of a TimeSplitter, Ti-Fang.
"Ti-Fang is here? But who's that with him?" Jake answered with a question.
Before they could put a finger on the mysterious Lycan beside Ti-Fang, he had disappeared.
"Dragon is here?" became carved into the wall beside Jake. It had been a long time since any of them had heard from R.M..
"Yeah." Jake replied to the wall carving, "What happened to you, by the way?"
"Zombie shadows took a lot out of me." was carved into the wall underneath the previous sentence.
This was referring to what R.M. had done with the zombies' shadows last year -- he possessed every shadow in an effort to distract the zombies.
Down at the biggest truck-like house you will ever see, Nakomis and Mirah were talking to the others about Pain and Blaine.
"... Pain is a lot like Kodai was when we first found him -- he's a fallen angel that bears close resemblance to one of us." Nakomis told her sister.
"I'm still pissed that I can't have a drink from him." Mirah added in, indignant.
"B-but... who's this Blaine guy, anyway?" Cooper replied shyly.
"Oh, him. He's a very good Necro-Healer, probably not as good as Wynturr at overall magic, though." Nakomis replied, "And if she tries to bite him she's got more than one of us to deal with. Though he does look tasty..."
"I heard that!" Mirah half-yelled.
The two went to find Fox Magee next. It'd be harder to tell him of the two new additions, as he hated everyone right off the bat. He was upstairs setting targets on fire.
"Before you tell me, I don't care and don't want to know." He said straight away.
"These two are helping us." Nakomis said, "So stop hating them for no reason."
"You should know by now that I don't care who you are, I still hate you." Fox said again.
They walked out of his room.
"Well, that was useless." Nakomis said to herself.
"We should tell Ti-Fang." Mirah said, with an air of anger in her voice.
"Good idea!" Nakomis replied.
"I want to bite someone..." Mirah said quietly.
They walked over to Ti-Fang, ready for the onslaught of questions relating to "Would they mind if he smelled/tasted/ate a few of their limbs". This dragon liked to eat ANYTHING.
"Before we start, you can't smell, taste or eat any of their limbs." Nakomis said to Ti-Fang.
"She's already indignant about not being able to bite them. I, however, don't care." She added, referring to Mirah.
"Excuse me, who's been a vampire all her life?!" Mirah replied, indignant still.
"Stop it, you." Nakomis snapped.
"Don't make me turn you to gold." Mirah snapped back. She was their equivalent of the Midas legends.
"Our boyfriends wouldn't like that, especially not Jake." She snapped again, "But back to business."
"These two are extremely powerful mages. Blaine is one of our only human memebers and he's our primary healer as well as necromancer." She started, "Pain is an extremely powerful elemental mage. As well as a fallen angel. He looks a lot like Kodai did when we first found him."
"You see, there's been a change in what Ghost and co. are doing." Ti-Fang butted in, "I don't believe they are against us anymore. That mysterious Lycan seems to not like us, though."
"Hmm... this complicates things a little." Nakomis replied, "I'll inform the others."
It would be natural to question how Ti-Fang knew of this -- but let's all remember he can travel through time and space. Nonetheless, Nakomis and Mirah went back up to HQ to inform everyone else of this recent change in events.
Back at the ARKNET Co. HQ, Marcus, or Mary, was having real trouble keeping Drake from asking him out.
"Don't even." He said.
"But Mary, you're so very beautiful and that metal arm makes you that much more deadly!"
*PUNCH*
Drake was now three rooms over. There were three Drake-shaped holes in the walls he was punched through.
