Okay, I wasn't entirely sure where this should go, and this eemed good. If there's a better forum, would a mod please move it there?
Anyway, to the point. Last Christmas, I got a Wacom Bamboo tablet from my mom. I had asked for a tablet to make some art making easier, and I finally thought it would be so. However, something was wrong with the tablet. I first noticed it when my mom opened some program that was a tutorial for use of the tablet that I didn't even want to do. Right when we got to this one lesson, the tablet started weird. There was severe lag when I brought the cursor around using either the pen or the special mouse that also came with it. So, my mom closed it with a mouse hooked up to the computer, and everything was fine.
However, later, I decided to try something else that came with the tablet: Photoshop! As soon as the little "Welcome to Photoshop" thing came up, the tablet started acting like with the Tutorial, but would also just not move rather than just lag. So, I tried using it on one of my pre-owned paint programs, paint.NET. It worked there, but using the paint brush(no matter what size) cause the entire image to become whatever color you were using, and using the line tool can cause a little mark to appear on the image even after you've undone it, forcing you to go back further through undos. I recently acquired GIMP, as I thought maybe the tablet would work for it. I was wrong.
After using Photoshop for the first time, I told my mom the effects it had on the tablet. So, my mom called the Help people for Wacom, and they just told my mom that I'd figure it out. For a while, I found that if I unplugged it and plugged it back in again, it would work for Photoshop and the Paint.NET paintbrushes would stay their size. But, later, it stopped working that way, staying in this current habits.
So, my question is, does anyone know how I could fix this or solve this problem? I am using a Wacom Bamboo Tablet, as I said at the beginning.
