A new Pokemon game, currently titled Pokémon: Nobunaga's Ambition, is set to release in Japan this Spring! Since im posting this from a mobile platform I can't post pictures, but the game is a turn-based, Strategy RPG set in fuedal Japan. What do you think?

I think the game should be good, but I'm a bit disappointed that it's only on the original DS and not 3DS. Hopefully we'll see an English release sometime next year as well.
So it's this Fire Emblem/FF Tactics/Phantom Brave/Disgaea/Makai Kingdom kind of game, but with Pokémon..?
This might turn out just fine or really mediocre.
I... erm... don't know what I just watched. Seriously.
I don't get it - will have to wait for more media to appear/for someone to dumb it down. It's good that they're branching out now though :D

Also known as Pokemon Mystery Dungeon...that was it reminded me of, anyway (never realized it, but I guess PMD does fall in the 'turn-based RPG' category). Could be fun, then (loved the PMD games, though more for the story and the music than the gameplay)...at least, if it ever makes the jump out of Japan.

Though they should've put it on 3DS....the DS is kinda dead...(with the exceptions of a few games coming out for it)xD
Backwards compatibility says hi.
Anybody else find the fact that Mewtwo is in it, as weird? Its its like feudal Japan and stuff. You might be able to say the same about Zekrom.
No, this doesn't make any sense at all. What the hell is Mewtwo doing there?
Unless the plot of this game involves time travel

Or unless you count the fact that the spinoff games rarely follow the continuity of the main games.
True, but they're going to need to explain Mewtwo's genesis somehow.
They didn't explain his backstory in the mystery dungeon games, either.
