Hi how are you all, I'm that guy who comes here and shows you a tad or what I've been up to every few months, makes about 2 replies and leaves.
Today I'll show: A few sprites, some malicious art including a lil bit of cards I design for another site "i've made over 40 but here are 5", a shoe design, and a big colorful yet black and white sketch.

Okay, So, I was playing Red Version on Pokemon Stadium 2 trying to do the MissingNo. Trick to get infinite (x128) Master Balls and all of the sudden GARY pops up and sends out a glitch Pokemon that crashes the game.

The following message appeared on the screen:

"The save file has been corrupted. It is impossible to continue. Please reset the console and select New Game."

OHFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...

I had just recently reset the game and had been working hard to get to the point in-game where I could capture Ditto for the shiny Dittio trick. I already had a full party of level 30-40 Pokemon, including the valuable Mew, Surfing Pikachu, Wartortle, and Ivysaur as well as my not shiny shiny Gyarados. All that hard work for nothing!

I wasn't about to give in. As the GAMEFREAK logo flashed on the screen and the title screen appeared, I stared the game in the face and told it that the Continue option had better still be there, else bad things would happen. Indeed, very bad things...

It was still there. I sighed with relief.

I selected it and the game continued from where I had last saved (in Viridian City Pokemon Center).

Trying to trick me into resetting. Naughty, naughty game.

I know there are alot of smart people out there, but lately I,m just going,"what has this world come to?" In an IB classroom, I've been asked what hyperbole is, encountered dozens of things that defy all logic, and been met with classmates who do nothing but exactly what the teacher says. Is it normal to feel this way?

An example of a senario that defies all logic was at PE. It still blows my mind that they manage to be stupid there.

Peer: you need to rewrite your position, we all have you here.
Me: I thought it made more sense if I was closer to so and so, since I need to protect her.
Peer: that's your position.

Acanthite TCG Update 25 - Do What Durant

Hey there ladies and gentlemen!

I'm going to apologise that this week's update is a little depressing, but I thought it was necessary for us to come clean with you.

Over the last few weeks you've probably noticed that a fair deal of the releases have been fairly random promotional cards and whilst I hope you still have been liking the cards we've been releasing, there's been a definite lack of direction as of late.

All I can say on the matter is that this has been down to genuine reasons - we've had a bit of staff inactivity which I can only assume is down to real life issues, and we've had some delays in getting hold of resources (for example, Fang hasn't had access to his main laptop for a while, which has meant he hasn't been able to send me some important files as quickly as we would have liked).

We do hope these things are sorted out soon, and I truly hope you guys don't mind bearing with us for the time being. My apologies indeed - we'll get AC: Discovery completed ASAP.

Regardless of this, however, there is a rule which says the Acanthite staff will have something to present to you guys every single Friday - and today is no exception.

Glitch: Changing Pokemon's Gender (GS)

So, I'm really wanting a shiny female Vaporeon, but my shiny Eevee always seem to turn out male. Originally, I figured this was because the shiny I was using for the "bad clone / fusion" glitch was male. However, I used the glitch to obtain a shiny Nidorina and tried using it instead, but the Eevee still came out to be male (it even showed up in the PC as a male Nidorina with Eevee's sprite, not nickname either - specie name). Even when I finally hatched a female Eevee, in combination with Nidorina, it was STILL a male. Does anyone know how to change its gender? (I'm pretty sure its all in the timing, but I want to know if there's an easier solution.)

The link has a stream of the single "My Valentine" which I have to say I love - both for Clapton's sweet guitar and for the fact that Paul's vocals sound both clear and natural, something which the heavily produced Memory Almost Full was missing.

Acanthite TCG Update 24 - Pikachu! Picowatt! I Choose You!

Hey folks, today we have two brand-new Electric type promotional cards for you to feast your eyes (and spend your points) on!

First up is the promotional series staple, the one and only Pikachu!

The artwork for this card is by aschefield101, who I would like to thank for allowing us to use this! As I'm sure you've noticed, this Pikachu's attack is inspired by the official Base Set Pikachu, so you might get a little hit of nostalgia from this (or not). :P

Next up is a tiny bird Pokémon who goes by the name of Picowatt!

This little chap was drawn by Comfy Cushion :D Not going to lie, I love this guy.

Real quick, before I start getting into this, would this forum allow NON-POKEMON fangame talk? I want to make sure I post this in the correct forum.

I worked hard on these sprites (so don't bash this or me because of those!), but even so, they're only placeholders until I find someone who can do a better job than me. Blade (the obvious replacement for Ness) is the only person I've got sprites for. Some info beyond that:

They're most definitely up to something with Mewtwo now. He even has his own subsite. I really wonder why they're trying so hard to promote Mewtwo... as am I curious as to where this is leading.

Possible theories:
- "Mewthree" in Gen VI to counter Genesect.
- Mewtwo vs. Genesect film/conclusion in Best Wishes - y'know the whole Rocket vs. Plasma thing that was meant to have started? Might lead into it.

Hey folks, this is a potential issue me and Kammington were discussing last night, and we felt it would be a good idea to let you guys have a say in this.

The problem is that we need to decide whether official Acanthite materials will use UK spelling and grammar or US spelling and grammar.

For US:

- The English translations of official Pokémon releases use US English.
- US English sees fairly common useage on the internet
- Project Leader Afti is American

For UK:

- A fair few of the staff use UK English
- More representative of staff culture (see previous point)
- Flame is from the UK so it would make him happy

So yeah, we're gonna leave this one up to you guys. Vote away, I'm gonna leave it open for a week :D

DISCLAIMER: i am reasonably new to faking cards so that might explain discrepancies of quality between the official cards and mine. in regards to the text, i don't like the b/w-style text so i'm using frutiger for most of the card for consistency and aesthetic purposes.

just doing some fake cards of pokémon i like. i haven't played the tcg for years so i have no idea if stuff is overpowered or not or whether the syntax is right but it's worth getting some feedback.
