Thanks to the talents of
Hallm3, we have two new pieces of official art in our
Pokémon section of the site.
Jerbound and
Vanitail can now be seen in full colour in a style that emulates the official stylings of Pokémon artist Ken Sugimori. We can look forward to further artistic treats from Hallm3 in the future.
Right, well... sorry for the lack of updates on here. In the meantime, Pokémon Acanthite is in a good position, but progress is slow. The design revamping has been slowed down by key staff members being unable to submit work due to overriding commitments in their personal lives, and I have personally hit a stumbling block in the coding department. So designs, sprites and coding have been slowed down, meaning we're behind schedule. I would like to be reporting good news, but that is the reality of the situation. I am pleased to say that the design process has picked up recently.
On more positive notes, the original design for the TCG has been finalised and work will progress on this particular project when the design process has been further developed. Likewise, work on this site will be ongoing and shall be released when ready. However, this is hindered by game progress, as content from the game itself is intended to be released in tandem with the new website layout.
We are also looking for a talented scratch spriter who is willing to assist in making trainer sprites within the current 80x80 dimensions (to DP style proportions, basically).
That's all I've got to say for now. I hope the next update has more of the good news. Thanks for reading.
Cheers,
Charlie
